THE POWER OF GOD’S LOVE- AMB PAT UNAJI (WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY)

THE POWER OF GOD’S LOVE-

AMB PAT UNAJI

KEY STATEMENT: - “For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed; saith the Lord that have mercy on thee” Isaiah 54:10. KJV.

The love of God is something we can never get over. The more you think of His love, the more overwhelmed you will become because His love is beyond knowledge and understanding (Ephesians 3:19), that is why it is the gospel; it is simply too good to comprehend.

When God says He loves you; it is not a function of what you have done or will do. His love is a function of all that Jesus did. You cannot merit the love of God; you can only learn to accept it.

In our text above, God; speaking through the ancient prophet Isaiah, said things will not change even if the mountains depart and the hills be remove. Think about that, can you imagine Mount Everest moving? A mere tremor of the mountain would become news in all media outlets. But, God is not even talking about a mountain moving but of it departing. Now can you imagine that? Of course not. As impossible as this seems, God says, that even the mountains depart and the hills are removed, His kindness shall not depart from you. See how constant it is. Do you now see, why it is clear that God is not mad at you? Nothing is capable of separating you from the love of God. The moment you accepted Jesus into your life and confessed Him with your mouth, you entered into a covenant with God and the covenant is eternal.

Meditate on the love of God. Close your eyes and think about the love of God. Let the gravity of that love sink into you. Think about His love until you come to a new level of understanding. God’s love is so powerful that it is a covenant that guarantees you His peace. Don’t let anyone or anything deceive you. God loves you unconditionally.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY-GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU-AMB PAT UNAJI

GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU-AMB PAT UNAJI

KEY STATEMENT: - “And God remembered Noah and every living things, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water assuaged” Genesis 8:1 KJV.

It is very easy to become so overwhelmed by the challenges in life that you begin to feel that you are all alone in this world and that no one cares about you. Indeed life challenges can make you throw up your hands in surrender, thinking all is lost. In such conditions, you may even hate everything about God especially when it seems like He is not doing anything to help you.

In our text above, Noah has just survived the terrible flood that destroyed every living creature on the face of the earth, leaving only his family, some animals and himself alive the ark. I don’t know what storm you are going through right now, but I do know that God remembered Noah, He will remember you too.

(GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU  - AMB PAT UNAJI)

When God remembered Noah, something significant happened. The beginning and the ending of our text says, “And God remembered Noah……….and the water assuaged”. Genesis 8:1. Do you understand that? When God remembered Noah, the waters subsided. The flood ended. The turbulence that had kept him in the ark stopped. In the same vein, I declare to you that God will remember you today and the storms around you will cease.

It doesn’t really matter how bad the flood was, many could have been drowned in it, but your case is different. In the days of Noah, everyone died, but Noah and his family were saved; in the same way, the Lord will ensure your safety. The storms in your life will cease. God will cause a wind to pass over any difficult situations to turn it in your favor. Other people may have given up on you, but I declare to you, the beginning of a new season in your life because God remember you today!

NEVER, NEVER LOSE HOPE (WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY) Amb Pat UNAJI.

NEVER, NEVER LOSE HOPE (WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY)

Amb Pat UNAJI.

KEY STATEMENT: - ‘’ who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations according to that which was spoken, so, shall thy seed be’’. Romans 4:18.

The worst thing that can happen to you as a child of God is for you to lose hope. One major reason why people lose hope is because they consistently listen to the lies of the devil. The devil’s assignment is to plant a picture of impossibility, hopelessness, condemnation etc., so that you can conclude that God has abandoned/given up on you.

Child of God, you have a duty not to lose hope. There is no way you can serve God and lose. When things become tough, and sometimes they do, stay in the word of God. Let the word of God become your stronghold and anchor. Don’t call a pity party or cancel yourself out.

Don’t lose hope, don’t give up. The scriptures in Job 14:7 says, ‘’ For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender branch thereof will not cease’’. If there is hope for a tree, how much more you; the beloved of God? You may not be able to fully comprehend what is happening to you; but as long as your hope in God is unshaken, let the devil jump up and down, you know; you have the victory.

Have you ever thought of the fact that; though Esther was a slave girl in a foreign land, yet she rose to the position of being a queen? Being a slave was not comfortable; it was a bad position to be in, yet she was catapulted from slavery to royalty. Beloved, that same grace that took away the reproach of slavery from Esther would work also for you. Never you; lose hope, because our God, whom we serve specializes in turning things around for His children. Don’t ever forget that what God has done for one; is an evidence of what He will do for another. Joseph’s case in Egypt is another good example of God turning things around – from slavery – to prison – to palace. Wao!

I declare over your life that you will not remain where you are today. You will get to that height God has ordained for you. You will not be denied. There shall be no delay in your life. God will grant you speed. He will compress time for you. You will not be put to shame. God will remove far from you; every reproach. He will clothe you with dignity and honor.
