Money Luke 16:10-11 Key Statement : - How much of you does money have? Money is a medium of exchange. It was never meant to be an idol. While it is neither good nor evil, the lustful attitude towards it has resulted in heated arguments, robbery, divorce, murders and loss of friendships. It is at the centre of our drug trafficking, abortion pills, pornographic industry and prostitution. And yet, while it is a necessity of life, it cannot purchase love, peace, forgiveness or happiness. Money can make life more comfortable and pleasurable, open doors of opportunity which otherwise may remain closed to us and is one of the best resources by which we can help others. But we must have the proper attitude towards it and use it wisely. There are two primary truths about money essential to our proper understanding of it and our profitable use of it. AUTHORITY MARK 10:42-45 KEY STATEMENT :-‘’The bucks stops here” That celebrated manifesto by President Harry Truman is the epitome of the man who had arrived in a position of authority. After years of taking orders from others, we finally find ourselves able to exercise authority over others. Our word becomes final, like that of the Roman centurion. “I say to this one, “Go, and he goes; and to another ‘come, and he comes” (Matthew 8:9). Authority also places us on very dangerous footing. For as another statesman, “Power corrupts: absolute power corrupt absolutely” Authority is gained and administered by the follower of Christ on a very different level than by members of the power-hungry world system. Learn How To Work Under Authority. The first fundamental for the judicious use of authority is to learn how to work under authority. This is critical. The more you think of His love, the more overwhelmed you will become because His love is beyond knowledge and understanding (Ephesians 3:19), that is why it is the gospel; it is simply too good to comprehend. GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU-AMB PAT UNAJI KEY STATEMENT : - “And God remembered Noah and every living things, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the water assuaged” Genesis 8:1 KJV. It is very easy to become so overwhelmed by the challenges in life that you begin to feel that you are all alone in this world and that no one cares about you. Indeed life challenges can make you throw up your hands in surrender, thinking all is lost.  In such conditions, you may even hate everything about God especially when it seems like He is not doing anything to help you. KEY STATEMENT : - ‘’ who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations according to that which was spoken, so, shall thy seed be’’. Romans 4:18. The worst thing that can happen to you as a child of God is for you to lose hope. One major reason why people lose hope is because they consistently listen to the lies of the devil. The devil’s assignment is to plant a picture of impossibility, hopelessness, condemnation etc., so that you can conclude that God has abandoned/given up on you. Child of God, you have a duty not to lose hope. There is no way you can serve God and lose. When things become tough, and sometimes they do, stay in the word of God. Let the word of God become your stronghold and anchor. Don’t call a pity party or cancel yourself out. Don’t lose hope, don’t give up. When you discover the wealth hidden in the word of God, you just go to bed and your prayer language changes, knowing you can have it all. God’s kingdom is ruled by principles. The principles in God’s word; work first in you before they work for you. In order words, what you do flows from who you are. Knowing who you are is much more important than what you do.
